Adult
Bereavement Support Group
On the first and
third
Thursday of each month, Pine Tree Hospice
holds an Adult Bereavement Support Group meeting for people in our area who
have lost a loved one
This is an
informal group, open to anyone
who wishes to come, listen, or share aspects
of their grief experience
It is an
opportunity to meet with others
who share a common experience
The group
meets from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
No
reservations necessary

The
Alzheimer's Support Group in Dexter meets on the second
Thursday of each month upstairs at St. Annes Parish
Center.
Meetings are held from 1:30 to 3 PM.
St.
Annes Parish Center is located on Free Street in Dexter.

ideas and learn about upcoming events at PTH and Evergreen,
The Pine Tree Hospice Center for Grieving Children and
Adults. Please
bring a friend interested in learning more about Pine Tree
Hospice programs, services and volunteer opportunities.

scheduled in various towns at the home of a Pine Tree
Hospice volunteer. Call 564-4346 to find the Meet and
Greet nearest YOU. |

101, a 4-hour orientation to Pine Tree Hospice for
indirect care volunteers
Indirect care
volunteers do such things as serve on committees,
run errands, cook for events; they do not work
directly with clients or families

Hospice Education, a 20-hour program for Pine Tree
Hospice direct care volunteers
Direct care
volunteers work directly with clients and families
by providing respite, companionship and support, and
they may be asked to run errands or provide
transportation; they may choose to serve on
committees or help with finding needed resources

Saturday, October 23, from 9 am to 5 pm
Friday, October 29, from 5 pm to 9 pm
Saturday, October 30 from 9 am to 5 pm
Experienced Pine Tree Hospice volunteers are
invited to attend any of the sessions in the 20-hour
program to
earn education credits.
