FOR DIRECT CARE VOLUNTEERS
8 hours annually divided this way:
4 hours including any combination of the following:
a) attend any Pine Tree Hospice
educational program
b) attend any volunteer training
class session
c) attend any Maine Hospice Council
event
d) attend any hospice educational
program
plus 4 more hours including any combination of the following:
a) view a movie (counts for length of
movie)
b) read a book (counts for 2 hours)
c) participate in PTH Team Meeting
(counts up to 4 hours)
FOR INDIRECT CARE VOLUNTEERS
4 hours annually divided this way:
1 hour including any combination of the following
a) attend any Pine Tree Hospice
educational program
b) attend any volunteer training
class session
c) attend any Maine Hospice Council
event
d) attend any hospice educational
program
plus 3 or more hours including any combination of the
following:
a) view a movie (counts for length of
movie)
b) read a book (counts for 2 hours)
